Easter Interclub 2007

This is the 6th Easter interclub weekend. This year it is jointly promoted by Essex and Breckland Land Rover Clubs.

The event is intended to provide a long weekend of enjoyable off road motorsport over a variety of events running throughout the Easter weekend. With events for the novice, hardened trialler and comp safari driver it is intended to be a relaxed event to kick start the season and a means to prepare for the National. The event has been opened to all Land Rover and 4x4 clubs in the East of England to share resources, including both ALRC and non ALRC clubs.

With camping available we hope the social activity will provide as much entertainment as the motorsport. There will be barbeques and a hog roast in the camping area, and a marquee will be erected as a social centre and meeting place.

For the children, there will be a bike trial one evening and remote control car ‘trials’ arranged on site – more details will be in the event programme.  There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday morning and craft activities on Monday.

The event is being staged at the CITB Training Site, near Bircham Newton, Norfolk. This is a working site so there will be limited toilets available; the more self sufficient you are the better. Details of local amenities will be provided in the welcome pack on site.

Marshals are always needed so please make yourself known if you would like to get involved.  Enthusiasm is more important than experience!  Contact the event organisers (see the contacts page) to volunteer.
